汤姆刚来中国不久，有一天他在路上碰到了朋友刘希，让我们一起来听听他们都谈了些什么。
Tom: Hello! What's your favourite festival?
Liu Xi: My favourite festival is the Spring Festival.
Tom: When is Spring Festival?
Liu Xi: It's in January or February. It's a traditional (传统的) festival. It's a special holiday，too. On that day people don't work. Children don't go to school. What about you?
Tom: I like Christmas.
Liu Xi: When is Christmas?
Tom: It's on December twenty-fifth. We have Christmas trees, lights and Santa. We can get many gifts on that day.
Liu Xi: That sounds nice.
汤姆：你好!你最喜爱的节日是什么？
刘希：我最喜爱的节日是春节。
汤姆：春节是什么时候？
刘希：在一月或二月。这是个传统的节日。也是个特别的节日。在那天人们不工作。孩子们不去学校。你呢？
汤姆：我喜欢圣诞节。
刘希：圣诞节在什么时候？
汤姆：在十二月二十五日。我们有圣诞树、灯和圣诞老人。在那天我们能得到许多礼物。
刘希：听起来真好。
